Théoriquement on doit pouvoir les danser tous seuls au bal - mais esperons qu'on nous invitera ! car c'est encore un peu maigre pour tout un bal !

Workshop weekend, Clonea Strand Hotel, Clonea, Dungarvan, Co Waterford

A few miles east of Dungargan town is the beautiful Gold Coast of Waterford, with a gem of a beach at Clonea. Standing beside the broad sandy beach is a hotel where you can spend the weekend dancing in this special setting. The programme begins on Friday night at a ceili with the Waterford Comhaltas Ceili Band, 9pm-12am. Teaching here for the first time are Pádraig and Róisín McEneany. Classes are from 10.30am to 5pm on Saturday, and there's two-hand dancing on Sunday morning from 11am to 1pm. The music of Tim Joe and Anne O'Riordan is the special attraction of the Saturday night ceili, 10pm-1am, and there's more brilliant music by Mort Kelleher at the Sunday afternoon ceili from 2.30 to 5.30pm.
